Hey there friend!

I'm Deanna, and I live in the Tampa, Fl, area with my husband of 28 years and twin teen sons. After a lifetime of being both a military brat and military spouse, I love finally being settled in an area with so much to do!

My world revolves around supporting and empowering women in their 40s and 50s who are navigating the monumental task of reclaiming their mental health and emotional balance during menopause. My path to becoming a coach and counselor in training specializing in menopause-related mental health wasn't just a professional choice—it's been a deeply personal journey, influenced by my own experiences as a menopausal woman, a mom, an educator, and a lifelong learner.

I’ve been where you are…

Real talk, friends. My journey through menopause and its impact on my mental health has been anything but straightforward. I've been in the trenches of hormonal changes, feeling like I was losing my mind, battling mood swings, anxiety, and a fog that seemed to cloud every aspect of my life. This stage, especially as our bodies and minds undergo significant changes, brings its own set of mental and emotional challenges. But here's what I've learned: it's also brimming with opportunities for self-discovery, healing, and rejuvenation.

With a foundation built on education—armed with degrees in English, Humanities, and School Administration, and enriched by certifications in DISC and Enneagram practices—I've cultivated a deep belief in the transformative power of understanding and evolving. My ongoing journey towards a master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling isn't just about adding credentials; it's about deepening the ways I can support, heal, and connect with others.

My approach isn't about lecturing from the sidelines. I'm right here with you, navigating this challenging journey of menopause and midlife together. I draw not just from academic knowledge, but from living through the very mental health struggles we discuss. It's about empathy, shared experiences, and crafting a roadmap together that addresses your unique mental health needs during this transition.

In our coaching sessions, we look at the full picture of your mental well-being. This phase isn't just about managing symptoms or busying ourselves with distractions; it's about meaningful growth, finding emotional equilibrium, and rediscovering who you are—and who you want to be—amid the mental health challenges of menopause. I'm here to walk this path with you, shoulder to shoulder, through the lows and highs, the anxieties, and the victories.

I warmly invite you to embark on this transformative journey with me. Through personalized coaching, dynamic workshops, or the support of a community that truly understands menopause-related mental health issues, my aim is to empower you with the strength, confidence, and serenity needed to embrace this chapter of your life. You're not facing these mental health challenges alone. Together, we'll tackle the emotional turbulence of menopause and celebrate the richness of this season, rediscovering the joy, clarity, and purpose that's been waiting for you!
